Advantages of solid-sealed pole

The solid-sealed pole is to embed the vacuum interruptor and circuit-breaker related conductive parts into the easy-curing solid insulating material such as epoxy resin or thermoplastic material to form the pole at the same time. The pole of the circuit breaker becomes an integral part.

The solid-sealed pole has the following two advantages:

The first is modular design, simple structure, few detachable parts, and high reliability;

The second is extremely high insulation rod capacity. It turns surface insulation into volume insulation, which reduces the impact of the environment and greatly improves the insulation strength compared to air insulation.

It can reduce the size of the circuit breaker and is conducive to the miniaturization of the switch cabinet.

In the past, the insulating shell of a general vacuum interrupter was exposed to the air, and there was a problem of being polluted by external dust and moisture. In order to reduce this effect, the outer shell of the vacuum interrupter is required to have a sufficient length, which not only affects the miniaturization of the vacuum interrupter, but also affects the performance and reliability of the vacuum interrupter. The solid-sealed pole has the following advantages: Compared with the traditional assembled pole, the number of parts of the solid-sealed pole is greatly reduced, the overlapping surface of the conductor is reduced from 6 groups to 3 groups, and the connecting bolts are reduced from 8 to 1~3. (See Figure 7) The simple structure greatly improves the reliability of the circuit breaker; since the vacuum interrupter is embedded in the solid material, no further treatment is required, and the solid-sealed pole can achieve a high Insulation strength: After the vacuum interrupter is embedded in the solid material, the influence of the external environment of the pole on the vacuum interrupter is minimized.
