What are the requirements for insulating parts and insulating seals?

Insulators should have satisfactory chemical stability and corrosion resistance in the pipeline transportation medium, and should not undergo visual functional changes within the manufacturing and planning service life.

The insulating board materials used for processing insulating rings and insulating gaskets shall not only conform to the rules of GBT1303.4, but also conform to the rules of Table 1.

The minimum thickness of the insulating ring and insulating seal should be determined according to the working conditions of the insulating joint, the insulating flange and the strength of the insulating seal data. For insulating joints and insulating flanges with a nominal diameter greater than or equal to DN100, the thickness of the insulating rings and insulating seals used should not be less than 12mm; for insulating joints and insulating flanges with a nominal diameter less than DN100, the thickness of the insulating rings and insulating seals used should not be less than 6mm.

When the planned pressure is greater than or equal to 6.3MPa, the epoxy layer jade glass cloth board should be used to make the insulating ring; when the planned pressure is greater than or equal to 4.0MPa and there is an airtightness test requirement, the insulating ring needs to be increased its internal compactness When processing the temperature, the internal compactness of the insulating ring should be processed along the processed surface of the touch tube conveying medium.
